Anthrax Sampling

ANTHRAX SURVEYING & SAMPLING

Our anthrax sampling service helps businesses meet their legal obligations set out by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.

Anthrax could be present in many older buildings throughout the UK, with plaster being reinforced with hair taken from animals, particularly horse hair. If the hair was contaminated with anthrax, spores can lay dormant for decades or even hundreds of years, which means that there is a potential of human exposure to virulent spores when old buildings are disturbed. It can also be found in soil.

Our trained surveyors will visit your building and safely take representative samples of any suspected material before sending them to a specialist laboratory for testing.  Once the testing has been undertaken, you will then be provided with a written report detailing the analysis and results.

We can then advise on any further steps you need to take and explain the best way to deal with any Anthrax risk.

If you wish to speak to us about our Anthrax sampling service, please email or call 01325 366886 for a chat and free no-obligation quote. You can also fill out the enquiry form on the website.
