Silverstone
Eton Environmental Group provided pigeon dropping removal services on behalf of Silverstone Building Consultancy at a site in the North East which was being converted from retail space into holiday lets.
The Client:
Silverstone Building Consultancy is a specialist firm of chartered building surveyors and project managers with offices in London, Leeds and Newcastle upon Tyne.

The Work:
Silverstone were advising a developer looking to convert the first floor of a retail building in Berwick, Northumberland, into holiday lets. During lockdown, pigeons had gained access to the empty building and had colonised two floors plus roof voids for many months.
The resulting substantial amount of pigeon droppings, feathers and carcasses was not only a slip hazard but the fumes produced are extremely dangerous to breathe in. As a result the droppings and pigeons needed to be removed and the premises thoroughly cleaned before any building work could be carried out. Eton Environmental Group was engaged to carry out this work.
