Raby Estates

Eton Environmental Group has worked with Raby Estates since 2018, providing a range of services, including asbestos surveys, energy performance certificates and legionella risk assessments.

The Client:

Raby Estates owns a range of properties and agricultural holdings in both County Durham and Shropshire which are highly sought after due to their stunning countryside locations. This includes the medieval Raby Castle and large estate located in Staindrop, near Darlington, which sits among 200 acres of deer park

The Work:

Raby Estates engaged Eton Environmental Group in 2018 to conduct asbestos surveys, remediation works, energy performance certificates and legionella risk assessments. Raby required the services to be carried out at 120-plus farm and outbuildings, as well as residential properties.

Following initial trial surveys Raby Estates were very pleased with our performance and a mobilisation period and plan was discussed and arranged for all sites to conduct asbestos surveys.

Following the surveys Eton Environmental completed any remediation works that was identified from the surveys.  Legionella risk assessments were undertaken on an ad-hoc basis as requested by Raby Estates and the Estate manager has also taken advantage of our online legionella awareness course.

Raby Castle were also provided with access to our TEAMS system which enables staff to track their jobs on a live system along with receiving weekly updates from the Eton administration team.
