Control of Asbestos Regulations

Next month (May), the Health and Safety Executive is to begin consulting stakeholders about the Control of Asbestos Regulations.

The consultation is part of a second post implementation review (PIR) of the regulations. following the first PIR which was published in 2017.

The review will seek to establish if the regulations continue to meet their objectives, remain appropriate and are still the best means to minimise exposure to asbestos.

The regulations place responsibilities upon employers, employees and duty holders who work in asbestos-related situations, like Eton Environmental Group.

An on-line survey, will open in late May, and Eton Environmental Group will be taking part.
