Eton Environmental Group carried out a specialist deep clean at the head office of Railway Housing Association as part of measures to protect its staff, customers and visitors.

The Client:

Established in 1919, Railway Housing Association is one of the UK’s oldest housing associations, with 1,500 rented homes in 24 local authority areas, mainly concentrated in the areas of Darlington, Doncaster, Durham, East Riding, Hull, Leeds, Newcastle, and York. In addition, it also manages 73 leasehold properties for older people.

The Work:

In anticipation of the return of staff following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions in the first UK lockdown, Railway Housing Association engaged Eton Environmental Group to carry out a specialist deep clean as part of measures to protect staff, customers and visitors.

The Client’s View:

Anne Rowlands, Chief Executive of Railway Housing Association, said: “We chose Eton Environmental Group to carry out a specialist deep clean at our office because, like us, their head office is in Darlington, and they have a great reputation in the area of health and safety building compliance.

“They were meticulous in the work, ensuring every single part of the office was cleaned, from the desks and workspaces to the door handles and light switches, and they did this in a safe and protective manner.”

“I would have no hesitation in recommending Eton Environmental Group to other businesses and organisations preparing to re-open their offices following the easing of restrictions.”
