Four junior football teams have hit the back of the net this season courtesy of Eton Environmental Group.

The sponsorship forms part of Eton’s commitment to supporting communities in the areas where it operates across the UK.

The most recent beneficiary was North East-based West Allotment Celtics. Eton gave £250 to support the club’s end of season trophy presentations, which included Newcastle United legend Malcolm Macdonald.

Other teams to receive sponsorship this season were Burnham White’s FC, who received £500; Leven Royals FC, who received £500; and Hinksey Park Hyenas FC, who received £250.

Joanna Shaefer, a Director of Eton Environmental Group, said: “We are pleased to have been able to support junior football teams in our operating areas this season.

“As a family-run company we understand the importance of community and being able to give something back to the areas where our staff work, and also where our customers are based, means a lot to us.”
